From sketch to space
A built space is the result of many small decisions.
Early sketches make relationships visible. Models test massing and light. Drawings clarify dimensions and construction. Material studies examine touch and atmosphere. Coordination brings the proposal into dialogue with structure, services, budget, and construction.
The process is therefore iterative rather than linear. Each stage gives the project new information, and each decision should strengthen the central spatial idea.
Good documentation is not separate from design; it is one of the ways design becomes buildable.
