Rethinking the potential of existing spaces
What already exists can be the beginning of something new.
Renovation often starts with an inventory of limitations. We prefer to begin by looking for latent qualities: structure, daylight, mature landscape, traces of use, and spatial relationships that are worth retaining.
Adaptive reuse can reduce unnecessary replacement while producing a new layer of architecture. The intervention becomes a conversation between what is inherited and what is introduced.
That approach can make a building feel specific because its history remains legible within its next chapter.
